Animal Soul

"Animal Soul" is a song by AURORA and it was performed live over twenty times from 2015 to 2017. A new version of the song, recorded for action-adventure game Senua's Saga: Hellblade II,[1] was officially surprise-released worldwide on May 17, 2024. The song is used in the game itself and an edited version is used in the game's launch trailer.

This song had several lyric variations in its live renditions. Aurora has posted partial lyrics, as heard in early versions, on her website and social media.[3][4]

  • After the song's early live renditions, Aurora performed the song again in 2020, at Verftet Online Music Festival[5] and in the Off Their Plate Virtual Prom livestream.[6]
  • The single cover was shot by Wanda Martin, see the photoshoot here. The multiple exposure was "a very lucky accident".[7]
