Here on the AURORA Wiki, we have two main goals: to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors, and to host a complete database about all things AURORA.
With this in mind, please be aware of the following wiki rules:
- Keep it civil: Do not make personal attacks on other people. If you need to criticize another user’s argument, do so without attacking them as a person. Do not use bigoted language, including slurs which degrade another person or group of people based on gender, race, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, etc. This includes slurs that you yourself have reclaimed!
- Be a productive member of the wiki: Contribute to the wiki in line with the established processes and conventions. Need help? Ask an administrator! Disrupting the wiki with “edit warring” over differing opinions of a topic with another user or group of users is not productive.
- Do not engage in excessive self-promotion: The wiki is a collaborative community resource for the topic at hand. It is NOT a free place to advertise your related website, YouTube channel, blog, social media account, etc. outside of your profile page. Have a question about whether your link would be welcome? Ask an administrator!
- Do not harass other users: If somebody asks you to stop posting certain content on their wall, respect their wishes. It is their wall. This also applies to other community spaces on the wiki, such as in forums, comment threads, or the wiki's Discord server.
- Do follow community guidelines for formatting: It is important to try to follow one consistent style so that our site remains accessible and easy to use. While we do not have a style guide available for viewing, we have articles of all kinds that can be referenced when creating a page.
- Vandalism is not tolerated: It goes unsaid that abusing editing privileges and vandalizing pages is not allowed, nor will it be tolerated. Any user engaging in vandalism will be blocked from editing on the wiki for a period of time. Large scale, incessant, or particularly offensive vandalism will result in a permanent ban.
- This is not a place for FANON: The AURORA Wiki is dedicated to sharing factual, real information. If you would like to post FANON content, feel free to join the AURORA FANON Wiki!
Regarding leaked content: Leaked/unreleased content is allowed on the wiki unless otherwise specified. Leaked content intended for future release, however, is not permitted and will be removed. Repeated attempts to share this content will result in a suspension or ban (on a case-by-case basis). For removal of any unreleased content, please contact one of our administrators.
