Pablo Nouvelle is a DJ, film maker and producer from Burgdorf, Switzerland. A former architecture student turned film maker and musician, Pablo Nouvelle makes songs from a combination of new and old samples.
Pablo Nouvelle's debut album, Pablo Nouvelle, was independently released in 2013; crafted meticulously in his home studio and deeply rooted in his fascination with the history of American soul music. In the UK especially, it was received with great enthusiasm. Mixmag described it as "essential listening" and BBC Radio 6, Radio X and Wonderland Magazine shared a similar view. He went on to release several EPs on London-based Black Butter Records and has released two further album since.
