Hi. I just wanted to apologize for the whole ban thing. I still look back at it and I regret doing. I know I went too far and overreacted, and I wanted to say I'm sorry. I also wanted to thank you for all the edits you are doing to help better the wiki. I hope you can forgive me and that we can work together to make this wiki the best it can be. Thank you. <3
Hi! It's okay now, you don't have to worry about it. I'm sorry for doing something that may have upsetted you. And thank you for believing on me that I would never ever vandalize this amazing wiki and I want to make it grow even more. Thank you very much again for your apology, this is not something that happens much today. Thank you!!! <3
What's the matter with the goddamn capitalization? I'm only fixing it. The way songs and albuns are often capitalized in social medias and streaming services doesn't necessarily means that is the correct way to write them or are the way the artist wants them to be.
Hello! Thank you for your response. While I understand that english and it's capitalization rules stick for most things, they do not always apply to song titles. You can see many examples of this. Some artists have their songs in ALL CAPS, lowercase, or miXeD. I believe that if AURORA wanted her songs to be capitalized correctly, then they would show how she wants them on her social medias.
Examples of songs capitalized impropperly according to english rules:
- miXeD (I cannot find examples, but I know I've seen them).
Once again, thank you for your support and interest in the Aurora Asknes Wiki! Regarding the ban: I realize that a month is a bit much, so I am changing the time length to only one week. The only reason you recieved the ban is because you ignored the warning. For future notice, if you recieve a warning and would like to clear it up, please message back on the warning's post. Any of our admin would love to help!
I understand you, you really have a point. But all songs and albuns titles follow those rules. You mentioned Billie Eilish's Lovely as an example but songs all lowercase or all caps are only styling the its title, it doesn't mean it is the correct way to write it.
Here are two Billie Eilish songs in her fandom wiki as an example:
I now see where you are coming from. We will consider making this change in our song page format in the future. But for now, please continue to have the page titles as they appear in official documentation. We will definetely take that format into consideration though. Thank you!
I think we need to make some rules, I think 1 month was a little bit too much, considering this person tried to help with the wiki and created a page for Across The Universe, one week is ok and we should definitely consider the capitalization thing
I was thinking the same, and I do think I overreacted. In a few days i'll be able to start actually working on a draft for rules. Go ahead and make one if you'd like and i'll add any thoughts I have. My apologies to everyone.
Hello there! I am writing regarding your edits so far. You have been unneccesarily editting and changing some capitilization on some pages. The capititilization that you are changing is already correct.
The following is the correct capitilization for things you've changed with links proving correctness:
