Odd Martin Skålnes, artist name O. Martin, is a singer, songwriter and music producer from the west coast of Norway.
He had a long career as lead singer in The Alexandria Quartet. his first solo release "Heading for the West Coast EP", came in February 2013 and was voted the month's EP in Natt & Dag. This was followed by a Norway tour with Grant-Lee Phillips, as well as several support concerts for Jonas Alaska. O. Martin has been described as a kind of gentle and harmonious edition of Radiohead's Thom Yorke. He is inspired by the vocal harmonies of Crosby, Stills & Nash. On January 27, 2014 he released his debut album "Silence Fiction".[1] Since 2013 he has worked with Lydriket studio[2] and has written or produced with artists such as Maylen Rusti, Moi, Vilde Tuv, Sigrid, Rhys, Axel, Flóvent and Hannah Storm. He is a band member of Strange Hellos.

Odd was the guitarist in AURORA's band until the end of 2016 when he decided to work on his solo project. He has written and produced extensively for AURORA songs in the same period, and on occasion after his departure from the band.
