Odd Martin Skålnes, artist name O. Martin, is a singer, songwriter and music producer from the west coast of Norway.

He had a long career as lead singer in The Alexandria Quartet. As a solo artist, O. Martin has been described as a kind of gentle and harmonious version of Radiohead's Thom Yorke and he is inspired by the vocal harmonies of Crosby, Stills & Nash. His first solo release Heading for the West Coast EP, came in February 2013 and was voted the month's EP in Natt & Dag. This was followed by a Norway tour supporting Grant-Lee Phillips, as well as several support concerts for Jonas Alaska. On January 27, 2014 he released his debut album Silence Fiction. His latest album, Limitensions, was released on January 10, 2025.

He has worked with Lydriket studio since 2013. and has written or produced with, among others, Maylen Rusti, Moi, Vilde Tuv, Sigrid, Susanne Sundfør, Rhys, Axel, Flóvent, Hannah Storm, Bo Milli and Korean singer Song Sohee. He is a band member of Strange Hellos.

Odd Martin was the guitarist in AURORA's band until the end of 2016 when he decided to work on his solo project. He has written and produced extensively for AURORA songs in the same period, and occasionally after his departure from the band.
