"Storm" (formerly known as "The Storm") is a song by Qing Feng (吳青峰) and AURORA (歐若拉). It was released worldwide as two singles on June 16-17, 2022; the original version in English and Mandarin[1] and another in English only.[2]
Both versions of the song are included on Qing Feng's EP 牧神的午後 (L'Après-midi d'un Faune), released on July 22, 2022.[3]
Background[]
The song was mentioned in an Instagram post by Aurora in 2020 and was registered on various song repertoires. A later registration included more songwriters. The collaboration of Qing Feng and Aurora started in 2021, when Aurora was preparing for her album The Gods We Can Touch. The two were introduced and found that their musical tastes were very compatible; they worked on the creative process remotely for nearly a year before finally selecting "Storm" for release. During the final stages of production, the two met in the studio in Oslo, Norway, to complete the song.[4]
On June 6, 2022, Qing Feng and Aurora both started teasing their upcoming collaboration on their social media.[5][6]

Music videos for both versions were released on June 20. They were directed by Sigurd Fossen and filmed in 2 long days (January 10-11) in Norway, in a national park near Oslo and at an indoor location.[9][10]
