Tobias "Toby" Gad (born 12 April 1968) is a music producer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. He was born in Germany to a Danish father and a German mother and began to make music at the age of 7 and before long, embarked on a successful career as a songwriter throughout Europe. In 2000, Toby moved to America and wrote hit songs with the likes of Fergie, Beyoncé, and John Legend. In recent years, Toby has entered the world of filmmaking, directing and producing documentaries about environmental causes that are dear to his heart.[1]
His songs have received two Grammy Awards and many other accolades.
